Big Reveal
The NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee unveiled what the top 16 Tournament seeds would look like if the season ended Monday and DePaul was included as the No. 14 overall seed. The Blue Demons were the Portland Region No. 4 seed which would have DePaul playing the NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds at home in Chicago. The four No. 1 seeds were South Carolina (No. 1 overall), Baylor (No. 2), Louisville (No. 3) and Oregon (No. 4). The second top-16 reveal is slated for March 2, while the NCAA Selection Show is March 16 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.

RPI Update
The BIG EAST continued to have seven teams in the top 100 of the NCAA RPI, including four teams in the top 50. DePaul led the way for the seventh consecutive week, coming in at No. 20. Following its win over the Blue Demons, Creighton improved 11 slots to No. 30, followed by No. 35 Marquette, which knocked off the Bluejays on Sunday. St. John’s rounded out the lead pack at No. 50, while Seton Hall (No. 77), Villanova (No. 88) and Butler (No. 94) were all in the top 100. Numbers could shift this weekend as DePaul and Marquette travel east to face St. John’s and Seton Hall in their respective Friday-Sunday swings.
Weekend Ahead
Nine more BIG EAST games are on the docket this week with two airing on national television. Marquette will carry its conference-leading five-game winning streak to Walsh Gym to face Seton Hall on Friday at 7 p.m. ET, in the first of two games airing on FS2 this weekend. The Pirates are coming off a weekend road sweep at Georgetown and Villanova and have won four of their last five. The night’s other three tilts, including No. 14/14 DePaul at St. John’s, will stream live on the BIG EAST Digital Network presented by SoFi at 7 p.m. After a single game on Saturday which has Providence hosting Creighton at noon, four more games follow on Sunday, including Villanova at Butler at 3 p.m. on FS2. The Bulldogs have won three straight and were victorious at Villanova on Jan. 10. The day’s three other games will stream on BEDN, including Georgetown at Xavier at 2 p.m.
