In the only game on Tuesday’s schedule, DePaul overcame a seven-point deficit with five minutes left to edge Marquette 69-68 at Wintrust Arena.  Charlie Moore made four free throws in the final 21 seconds to help the Blue Demons (15-15, 3-14 BIG EAST) to the victory.  For the second time this season, DePaul placed five players in double figures.  Moore led with 15 points.  Romeo Weems added 13 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots.  Markus Howard led Marquette (18-11, 8-9) with 31 points, his ninth 30-point game in league play this season.

Wednesday’s lineup starts with Xavier at Providence at 6:30 p.m. ET on FS1.  The Friars (17-12, 10-6) have won four in a row and sit alone in fourth place.  Xavier (19-10, 8-8) is tied for fifth place with Butler and has won four of its last five road games.  The Musketeers are aiming for their 13th 20-win season in the last 15 years.
Butler hosts St. John’s at 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.  The Bulldogs (20-9, 8-8) want to get back over .500 in the standings before Saturday’s game at Xavier.  The Johnnies (15-14, 4-12) are coming off a win over Creighton and are a game behind Georgetown in the standings.

Creighton hosts Georgetown at 8 p.m. on FSN.  The Bluejays (22-7, 11-5) are still in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament if Seton Hall loses to Villanova.  The Hoyas (15-14, 5-11) are trying to stay ahead of St. John’s, though both teams are bound to a first round matchup at the BIG EAST Tournament as the eighth and ninth seeds.

Seton Hall has a chance to clinch an outright regular-season crown, its first since the 1992-93 season, when it hosts Villanova at 8:30 p.m. on FS1.  The Pirates (21-7, 13-3) already have at least a share of the crown.  The Wildcats (22-7, 11-5) still have a shot at the No. 1 seed, but need some help.  Seton Hall beat Villanova 70-64 on Feb. 8.

Home teams have won 11 of the last 14 contests and are 48-33 (.593) in league games going into Tuesday.
