NEW YORK – Seton Hall’s Baylee Allender and Georgetown’s London Diller have earned the latest BIG EAST Softball Weekly Awards as Allender earns Player of the Week honors while Diller collects Pitcher of the Week accolades. Allender had a breakout weekend at the plate for the Pirates to lead the conference with 12 RBIs and a 1.143 slugging percentage. Diller posted a 3-0 record in the circle for the Hoyas as Georgetown went 3-2 at the UNCW Invitational.
 
Player of the Week
Baylee Allender, Seton Hall, Jr. (Rosharon, Texas)
Allender had an explosive weekend for Seton Hall as the Pirates went 4-1 at the Clearwater Spring Break Invitational. The junior launched a BIG-EAST best three home runs on the weekend while also leading the conference in RBIs with 12 and putouts with 40. The junior went 7-for-14 on the weekend with a .500 on-base percentage and a 1.143 slugging percentage. In an 11-6 win over Florida A&M, Allender was a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBIs, a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored.
 
Pitcher of the Week
London Diller, Georgetown, Jr. (Sugar Land, Texas)
Diller went 3-0 at the UNCW Invitational as the Hoyas went 3-2 on the weekend with two wins over North Dakota State and a victory against North Carolina Wilmington. Diller threw 18 innings on the weekend and tallied 11 strikeouts. The junior posted an ERA of 2.72 while allowing only one earned run in the Hoyas weekend finale.
 
Honor Roll
Mackenzie Griman, Butler, Fr., P/OF
Griman led Butler at the plate in five games at the Memphis Tournament. Griman led the BIG EAST in on-base percentage with a .632 mark while posting a .500 batting average on the weekend. Griman notched seven hits, a home run and two double as well as five RBIs.
 
Kiele Miller, Creighton, Jr., P
Miller posted a 1-1 record in the circle for the Bluejays at the Spring Games in Madeira Beach, Fla. The junior posted 14 strikeouts in 14 innings of work and allowed only seven hits holding opponents to a .140 opposing batting average.  Miller recorded a one-hit shutout against LIU during Creighton’s  first game of weekend before allowing just two runs in a complete game against then-No. 12 Florida State.
 
Mackensie Compton, Providence, Sr., OF
Compton led the way for Providence at the Clearwater Spring Break Invitational where the Friars picked up three wins. The senior posted a team-high seven hits while batting .438 and reaching base at a .500 mark. Compton posted six RBIs and collected 14 total bases.
 
Mae Forshey, Georgetown, So., Inf/C
Forshey turned in a great performance at the UNCW Invitational.  Forshey led the BIG EAST in batting average at .563 while finishing the weekend second in on-base percentage (.588) and RBIs (7). In three wins for the Hoyas, Forshey posted nine hits and four runs and tallied 14 total bases.
 
Paige Rauch, Villanova, Jr., P/DP
Rauch posted an all-around performance for the Wildcats in their seven-game stint out west. Last week, Rauch went 2-1 in the circle with a 2.10 era and 19 strikeouts in 20 innings pitched. At the plate, Rauch launched eight hits, including three doubles and two home runs.
