Marquette 95, Villanova 77
Selena Lott scored a game-high 27 points, passing the 1,000 mark for her career, as Marquette picked up a crucial road win at Villanova on Wednesday night. The Golden Eagles (10-2, 7-1 BIG EAST) entered the evening in a tie for second place in the BIG EAST standings with No. 17/20 DePaul at 6-1, with the win giving them the solo spot behind No. 3/4 UConn. Five Marquette players finished in double figures as the Golden Eagles shot .529 from the field – their fourth straight game of 50-percent shooting or better – and matched its season high for points in a game (95). Maddy Siegrist and Brianna Herlihy tied for the Villanova lead with 19 points apiece, with Siegrist matching the game high with eight boards. The Wildcats (9-3, 4-3) shot .475 on the night but MU doubled up Nova in the third, 30-15, to pull away. Lott added 11 assists for her first point-assist double-double of the season.

St. John's 70, Georgetown 53
Leilani Correa matched her career high with 35 points as St. John’s snapped its four-game skid with a road win over Georgetown on Wednesday afternoon. Correa was 11-of-22 from the field and 10-of-12 from the free-throw line. The Hoyas (1-6, 1-6 BIG EAST) led by six after the first quarter but the Red Storm (5-9, 2-7) outscored GU 23-7 in the second quarter to pull ahead. St. John’s never trailed again thanks to .455 shooting – its sixth straight game of shooting over 40 percent from the field. Milan Bolden-Morris scored 18 points to lead Georgetown, while Graceann Bennett finished with nine points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Kadaja Bailey joined Correa in double figures for the Red Storm, adding 14 points and a game-high 14 rebounds for her second double-double in as many games.

th-ranked ranked Arkansas at 6 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPN2. The contest begins a two-game road trip against ranked teams for the Huskies as the Arkansas tilt is followed with Sunday’s game at No. 17/20 DePaul which will air on FOX at 1 p.m.
