BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Jill Bolton, Liberty, Sr., F (Souderton, Pa.)
Liberty senior forward Jill Bolton led the Lady Flames to a 2-0 weekend against Old Dominion. Bolton contributed eight points on three goals and two assists. Her goals were scored on just six shots on goal. She scored the Liberty’s final two goals of Saturday’s 4-1 win, at 42:04 and 44:43. Bolton also assisted on Daniella Rhodes’ first goal of the game in the first minute. On Sunday, Bolton scored in the 47th minute, putting Liberty ahead 2-0. In seven games this season, Bolton is Liberty’s leader in assists (7) and ranks second in goals (7) and points (21).
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Azul Iritxity Irigoyen, Liberty, Fr., GK (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Liberty keeper Azul Iritxity Irigoyen repeats as Defensive Player of the Week. This week. Irigoyen allowed just one goal in two games, marking seven total saves for a 0.50 goals against average and .875 save percentage. The freshman made four saves in a 4-1 victory over ODU on Saturday. On Sunday, Irigoyen made three saves in a 2-0 shutout of the Monarchs. The rookie’s third and final save came with two seconds remaining in the third quarter and kept Liberty ahead 1-0. In six appearances this season, which contained four starts, Irigoyen is 5-0 with a 0.67 GAA, .842 save percentage, 16 saves and two shutouts.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Nina Santore, Quinnipiac, Fr., GK (Berlin, N.J.)
Quinnipiac freshman Nina Santore made five saves and earned the win in her first collegiate start. Four of her saves came in the first half, keeping the Friars scoreless. Santore helped the Bobcats earn a win over Providence for the first time.

Hamilton scored two goals and assisted on another as she factored into all three of Connecticut’s scores in a 3-0 win over Providence on Sunday afternoon.

Scored her first career goal on Sunday against Villanova, also recorded an assist on Saturday’s game-winner. Villanova and Temple split the weekend.

Clarke scored the game-winning goal in the second minute of overtime on Sunday against Temple as VU notched its first win of the season. Earlier in the contest, she assisted on VU’s first goal.
