BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Anja Savich, Butler, Jr., F
Savich scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Creighton in Thursday’s regular-season finale. The junior scored the game’s first goal just 11 minutes into the contest before breaking the 1-1 tie in the 81^st minute with what proved to be the game winner. The victory pushed the Bulldogs to 6-1-0 in BIG EAST Midwest Division play.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Christina Rodgers, Providence, Sr., D
Rodgers led the Providence defensive unit in a busy three-match week. The Friars won the shots battle in all three matches, outshooting Villanova and St. John’s by a 40-27 margin, including 22-15 on goal. Rodgers also provided the game-tying score in the 81^st minute in Sunday’s regular-season finale draw at St. John’s.
 
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Megan McClay, Villanova, Jr., GK
McClay posted an .850 save percentage and 1.41 goals against average in a 1-1-0 week for the Wildcats. The junior made 10 saves in Monday’s 2-1 setback to Providence before stopping seven shots in nearly 111 minutes of work in Thursday’s overtime win at Seton Hall. McClay’s 17 saves were the most by a BIG EAST goalkeeper last week, while her save percentage was tops among goalies with multiple appearances.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Emma Bodmer, Providence, Fr. GK
Bodmer went unbeaten (1-0-2) in net last week for the Friars, registering an .800 save percentage and 0.87 goals against average. She combined for 12 saves in a win at Villanova and two draws against St. John’s, including six stops in Thursday’s home draw with the Red Storm.

Amber Birchwell, Providence, Sr., M/F – two goals and an assist in a 1-0-2 week for the Friars; game-winning goal at Villanova on Monday
Jessica Garziano, St. John’s, So., M – scored the Red Storm’s goal in the 1-1 draw at Providence on Thursday
Bri Austin, Villanova, Sr., F – goal and assist in a 1-1-0 week for the Wildcats, including the 101^st minute golden goal at Seton Hall on Thursday
