BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Delphine Le Jeune, Old Dominion, So., M/B (Ghent, Belgium)

Old Dominion sophomore midfielder Delphine Le Jeune scored a goal and assisted two more in the Monarch’s 3-0 Friday win over Providence. Her first goal ended up being the game-winner as she scored in the 14th minute. Her assists were on the second and third goal in the last 15 minutes of action. Le Jeune started both games for Old Dominion last weekend.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Nicole Fredricks, Old Dominion, So., B (West Chester, Pa.)
Old Dominion sophomore Nicole Fredricks repeats as BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week. She helped lead a defense that held Providence to just one goal in two wins for Old Dominion last weekend. The Friars were only able to get eight total shots on goal in the two games. Fredericks also scored the second and third goals in the 3-0 win on Friday.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Marlon de Bruijne, Old Dominion, Fr., F (Den Bosch, Netherlands)
Old Dominion rookie Marlon de Bruijne recorded a game-winning goal and added two assists in Old Dominion’s two wins over Providence last weekend. de Bruijne assisted the first goal in the Monarch’s 3-0 win on Friday. She also added a second assist on Saturday in the game-tying goal in the 43rd minute. de Bruijne’s game-winner was scored in the 59th minute, a direct strike off a penalty corner with 1:09 remaining in regulation.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Taylor Alba, Temple
Alba scored two of Temple’s four goals in the win over La Salle on Thursday. She fired six shots four getting on goal.
Veronikia Novakova, Temple
Novakova recorded the eventual game-winning goal and added an assist in the Owls’ 4-0 victory over cross-town rival La Salle in the regular-season finale. Novakova helped hold La Salle to just six shots, four on target, and successfully defended all three penalty corners.
