Hoyas Selected as No. 13 Overall Seed for NCAA Tournament

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer team (11-0-1, 7-0-1 BIG EAST) is the No. 13 seed for this season's NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, as announced by the NCAA via its selection show on Monday, April 19. 48 of the nation's best soccer programs will battle in  North Carolina for the chance to hoist the 2020 College Cup. Of those 48, 16 teams have earned first-round byes and will begin their tournament action in the Cup's second round.

Coach Dave Nolan on Georgetown's Selection:
"We are very grateful to the BIG EAST Conference, Georgetown University and the Athletic Department for giving us the chance to compete this spring. It has been a unique and challenging experience, however the opportunity to compete for a conference championship and a national championship provided the team with some sense of normalcy, and they have been very focused on taking every day one at a time with one eye on being exactly where we are now. We are very excited to keep this season going and look forward to playing the winner of Montana and South Carolina on May 1st."
