CAYCE, S.C. – Due to weather, play at the BIG EAST Tennis Championships Presented by JEEP was suspended on Saturday. Women’s semifinal action, which was suspended during the singles competition of the semifinals will resume action at 11 a.m. ET on Sunday. Men’s semifinal play will begin no sooner than 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
Due to the rain delay on Saturday and subsequent schedule change, the women’s and men’s championship finals have been moved to Monday and will start at 9 a.m. for the women and 1 p.m. for the men. Championship matches will stream live on the BIG EAST Digital Network Presented by SoFi with John Fanta and Joe Gentry on the call from the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center.
 
Before play was suspended, No. 2 DePaul had earned the doubles point over No. 3 Villanova. No. 1 Xavier had also earned the doubles point over No. 4 St. John’s. Both women’s semifinals will pick up where they left off at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
 
Sunday’s men’s semifinals will feature No. 1 seed DePaul against No. 4 Butler and No. 2 St. John’s against No. 3 Marquette. The men’s action will get underway around 1 p.m. ET.
