NEW YORK – The BIG EAST baseball series between Connecticut and visiting Butler originally scheduled for April 30 through May 2 has been cancelled due to travel issues as announced by the BIG EAST Conference on Friday.

The Huskies will host a two-game series against Bucknell starting on Saturday, May. 1.

The Bulldogs are also working on a scheduling a non-conference opponent for this weekend.
