BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Jill Bolton, Liberty, Sr., F (Souderton, Pa.)

Liberty senior forward Jill Bolton paced the Lady Flames offense in a pair of wins over the weekend at UC Davis (7-1) and Cal. Bolton led the attack with four goals and 10 points with two assists. She netted three goals against UC Davis and added an assist to match a career-high with seven points. her goals came in the 34th, 38th and 47th minutes, as Liberty scored five goals in the first 16:15 of the second half. On Sunday at Cal, Bolton scored at the 14:11 mark, her fourth goal of the year, putting Liberty ahead 2-0. She also assisted a goal in the 28th as No. 10 Liberty defeated Cal, 3-0.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Azul Iritxity Irigoyen, Liberty, So., GK (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
BIG EAST Preseason Defensive Player of the Year Azul Iritxity Irigoyen started her second season in net for Liberty with two wins on the West Coast. Iritxity Irigoyen recorded a two-save shutout in No. 10 Liberty’s 3-0 triumph at Cal, her fourth career shutout, on Sunday. On Friday at UC Davis, the goalkeeper made four saves in a 7-1 win for Liberty. For the weekend she posted a 0.50 goals-against average and a .857 save percentage.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Roos Michiels, Providence, RS-Fr., D (Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands)
Providence newcomer Roos Michiels helped the Friars open play 2-0  with wins over Boston University and Bryant. Michiels was part of a Friar defense that gave up just one goal in 120 minutes of action. She also scored her first collegiate goal in Providence’s season-opening victory against Bryant on Friday.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Cheyenne Sprecher, UConn
In a 1-1 weekend for UConn, Sprecher marked 13 saves and a 1.00 goals-against average, allowing five total goals. Her save percentage was .722 for the weekend.
Asia Porter, Providence
Porter earned the win in a 2-1 local-rivalry game against Boston University. She withstood heavy offensive pressure from the Terriers as the Friars were outshot 16-5 (13-4 shots on goal). She also stood up to 11 Terrier corners. Porter made 12 saves on the day.
Julianne Kopec, Temple
Scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Merrimack in her collegiate debut. Fired five shots, putting three on target, with team-leading four coming against the Warriors.
Megan Ragusa, Temple
Recorded seven of Temple’s eight saves over opening weekend in her debut as an Owl. Ragusa allowed just two goals and saw a clean sheet against Merrimack. Helped lead a defense that successfully defended six of seven penalty corners.
