BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Charles Auguste, Creighton, Sr., MF (Montreal, Quebec)

Creighton senior midfielder Charles Auguste recorded three points during the Bluejays’ win at No. 1 Indiana with the second goal of the match and an assist on the final goal of the night. Auguste played all 89 minutes. The win over the Hoosiers in Bloomington, Ind., was the program’s first victory against a team ranked No. 1 and was the fist victory against a ranked opponent since Sept. 6, 2019 (2-1 vs. No. 21 Akron) and first shutout of a ranked opponent since 2018 (No. 11 Clemson, 2-0). Auguste’s single shot on goal made it in as he scored at 43:00 on the clock. His assist on goal No. 3 was in the 79th minute.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Johannes Pex, Seton Hall, Jr., D (Stephansposching, Germany)
Seton Hall junior defender Johannes Pex helped the Pirates to a 2-0 week. In a 4-2 win over Delaware, Pex converted a penalty kick in the first half an added an assist on the Pirates’ fourth goal of the night giving him a three-point game. The Blue Hens had eight shots on goal. Against N.C. State, Pex scored the opening goal for the Pirates, which would become a 3-1 victory over a team receiving votes in the top 25 for No. 20 Seton Hall. Pex and the SHU defense limited the Wolf Pack to five shots on goal.
 
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Paul Kruse, Creighton, Sr., GK (Heilbronn, Germany)
Creighton senior goalkeeper Paul Kruse earned a three-save shutout against No. 1 Indiana on Friday night in Bloomington for the Bluejays’ first win in program history against a top-ranked team. The Creighton defense limited the Hoosier to just seven shots overall as Kruse made key saves in the in the 38th minute, 44th and 74th. Creighton co-captain Kruse leads the BIG EAST with 18 saves.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Kieran Sargeant, Georgetown, Fr., D (League City, Texas)
Georgetown freshman defender Kieran Sargeant played the full 90 in a 1-0 shutout win at Syracuse for the No. 2 Hoyas on Friday. Sargeant helped anchor a back line that held the Orange to just six shots, none on target, to preserve the victory for 3-0-0 Georgetown. Sargeant won Defensive Player of the Week honors last week. 
                                                                                  
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Tommy Visser, Butler
Visser played all 180 minutes in a 1-1 week for Butler. The Bulldog back line allowed two goals in two games, a win 2-1 over Milwaukee and a loss, 1-0 to No. 1 Indiana. Visser scored the game-winning goal in the Milwaukee win, scoring in the 67th minute.
Gandhi Cruz, DePaul
Cruz went 2-0 between the pipes for the Blue Demons with a career high six saves in DePaul’s 1-0 win over Wisconsin on Sunday. He allowed one goal in a 3-1 win over St. Thomas (Minn.) and saved three.
Beto Soto, Marquette
Soto was involved in both goals during No. 13 Marquette’s 2-1 win over Kansas City, assisting teammate Christian Marquez on the first score of the match, then scoring his own goal in the 34th minute.
CJ Tibbling Seton Hall
Senior forward Tibbling helped the No. 20 Pirates to a 2-0 week as he picked up three points off one goal and one assist in the Pirates’ two victories. He scored the game-winner in the second half with Delaware and picked up the primary assist on SHU’s first goal against N.C. State.
Jerome Jolly, Xavier
Jolly helped Xavier post a 1-0 record last week with a 2-1 win over Ohio State. Scored the game-winning goal in the 76th minute, his third game-winner this season. His efforts came in just 21 minutes off the bench. XU is 3-0.
