Georgetown was led by Laila Jewett with 17 points, while Brianna Scott added 11 points. Destiny Agubata led all players, pulling down seven boards. The Hoyas’ defense limited Butler to 1-for-7 shooting from the floor over the final minutes of the second, as GU headed into the third quarter with a 32-23 lead. McKenna Johnson scored 11 points for the Bulldogs. Anna Wypych finished with 10 points on 3-for-4 shooting from the field. The Bulldogs forced 13 turnovers. The game saw four lead changes and two ties.

Sarah Strong had 24 points on 11-for-15 shooting from the field, five assists and six steals in just 29 minutes of work. Azzi Fudd chipped in 16 points on 50-percent shooting while Blanca Quiñonez scored 14 points. Fudd and Quiñonez recorded four steals each. KK Arnold ended with 11 points, six steals and four assists. The Huskies forced 33 turnovers and converted them into 46 points. Beautiful Waheed led St. John’s with 14 points, nine from deep. The Johnnies went on an 8-2 run in the second quarter to lessen UConn’s lead to 13. UConn quickly answered by holding St. John’s to just one field goal over the final five minutes before halftime.

BIG EAST to Provide Public Availability Reports for Men's and Women's Basketball
Beginning in 2025-26, the BIG EAST Conference will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes in conference games in the sports of men's and women's basketball. BIG EAST schools will be required to submit availability reports three hours before the scheduled tipoff time.  Under the reporting structure, players will be designated as "questionable" or "out."  Availability reports will be posted on the BIG EAST website throughout the 2025-26 season. Women's Basketball Availability Reports
