Cincinnati and Notre Dame Share BIG EAST Women's Golf Player of the Week Awards

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Cincinnati's Olivia Dose and Notre Dame's Lindsey Weaver were named BIG EAST Women's Golf Co-Players of the Week.   Louisville freshman Robin Sciot-Siegrist was named BIG EAST Men's Golf Player of the Week. This is the second consecutive week the freshman has been named BIG EAST Men's Golf Player of the Week. 

 

Dose and Weaver tied for ninth at the Clover Cup on March  8-10 at the Longbow Golf Club to be named Women's Golf Co-Players of the Week. Dose shot a 217 (74-73-70) on the par-72 Longbow Course in Mesa, Ariz., on March 8-10. The junior helped Cincinnati to a 13th-place finish. Notre Dame's Lindsey Weaver also shot a 217 (73-72-72) to finish one over par. The freshman was the top finisher for Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish finished fifth at the Clover Cup.  Dose and Weaver defeated five top-100 nationally ranked players.

 

Sciot-Siegrist finished in the top-10 for the fifth-consecutive tournament, recording an eighth-place finish at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic. The freshman shot a 216, leading Louisville to an eighth-place finish.
