Scodro and Lee Earn BIG EAST Golf Player of the Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Notre Dame senior Max Scodro earned BIG EAST men's golf Player of the Week honors for the second straight week, while St. John's sophomore Harin Lee was named BIG EAST women's golf Player of the Week.
Scodro finished tied for fourth at the Linger Longer Invite 70-69-72-211 (-5). He posted his seventh top-25 finish on the season individually, while also recording his sixth team-leading effort on the year, in a field that featured four top-30 teams. He currently leads the team in both under-par (10) and even-par (4) rounds on the season, while having broken 70 five times on the year.
Lee won the individual title by nine strokes at the Spider Spring Invitational with a 73-73-72-218 (+2). Shooting the best final round of any team at Independence Golf Club, the Red Storm women's golf team took home its second title of the year, winning by 10 strokes. The win marks the second individual title of the year for Lee and fifth of her career.
The next BIG EAST Golf Player of the Week release will be on April 4.
