BIG EAST Male Weekly Honors
John Fatigati, Providence –
Fatigati won all three of his individual events and helped the Friars win two relay events at the Harold Anderson Invitational hosted by the University of Rhode Island.  He took first in the 200y IM (1:57.36), the 400y IM (4:11.37) and the 200y butterfly (1:58.57).  Fatigati participated in the 400y medley relay and the 200y freestyle relay.  His contributions helped Providence finish second of five teams.  Fatigati has won 14 of his 18 individual events this fall.

– At the Patriot Invitational, Kolackovsky took one second place finish, three third places and a fifth place.  Her second-place time in the 200-IM (2:05.03) and third-place finish in the 200-breast (2:19.73) are the fastest times in the conference this year.  In the 400-free relay, her time of 51.85 on the opening leg was a school record.

Butler’s Gosnell Impressing as a Freshman

Butler freshman Audrey Gosnell set a school freshman record with a time of 23.8 in the 50 free.  She covered the 100 free in 54.0.  Her time of 58.5 in the 100 fly just missed a school record.

Xavier Excels at Magnus Cup Invitational
The Xavier men and women performed well at the Magnus Cup Invitational, hosted by Cleveland State, with Carter Clark and Maddie Day leading the way.  Clark helped the men’s team to a third-place team finish with a third-place individual finish in the 50 breast (25.51) and had fifth-place showings in the 400 medley relay (59.40) and 200 free relay (20.87). 

The women’s team also finished third.  Day set a meet record in the 50 breast (29.48) and added a sixth-place finish in the 50 free (24.41).  On the meet’s second day, the junior picked up fourth-place finishes in the 100 breast (1:06.49) and the 200 medley relay (29.55 split).
