PEORIA, Ill. -- The DePaul Blue Demons cross country teams competed at the Bradley Classic on Friday evening in Peoria.
The host Bradley Braves won the meet on the men's side, while Missouri took the women's race.
The DePaul men placed 16th out of 22 teams and the women finished 19th out of 24.
Chris Miedema led the way for the Blue Demons, logging a time of 25:22, good enough for a 41st place finish out of 226 runners. Alex Campanella (25:34) followed Miedema's lead in 61st. On the women's side, Taylor Hynes (21:58) placed 41st for the Blue Demons to lead the charge while Jackie Kasal took 102nd out of 240 runners.
For the Blue Demons, the Bradley Classic was their fourth race of the fall. They will next compete at the BIG EAST Championships on Nov. 2 in Kenosha, Wis.
