BIG EAST Baseball Statistics
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Seton Hall's Giuseppe Papaccio and USF's Nick Gonzalez earned BIG EAST Baseball weekly awards after leading their teams to spots in the BIG EAST baseball championship.
Papaccio went 10-for-18 (.556) in a 4-0 week for the Pirates. The shortstop tallied 13 RBI, two home runs, three doubles and six runs scored. Papaccio leads the league in doubles (21), total bases (110) and has a league-high 24 RBI in conference play.
Gonzalez pitched seven shutout innings in a 4-3 10-inning win over Notre Dame. The junior lefty helped USF clinch the series in two games with five strikeouts, surrendering just one walk and eight hits.

Dace Kime, Louisville, Jr., RHP
Kime picked up two wins on the mound last week with a combined 16 strikeouts in 12 innings against Western Kentucky and Villanova. The junior struck out 10 in seven innings of work against the Wildcats.
Trey Mancini, Notre Dame, Jr., 1B
Mancini extended his hitting streak to 15 games last week, going 11-for-24 (.458) with four doubles and three RBI in a 2-3 week for the Irish.
Stephen Vranka, Pittsburgh, Jr., OF
Vranka went 8-for-22 (.364) with five RBI, two home runs and three doubles in the 4-1 week for the Panthers.
Matt Wotherspoon, Pittsburgh, Jr., RHP
Wotherspoon recorded a win in seven innings of work at Georgetown last week. The junior surrendered one run and six hits while tallying six strikeouts.
Greg Terhune, Seton Hall, Sr., LHP
Terhune pitched a complete game in a 14-3 win against Cincinnati. The senior recorded 10 strikeouts, one walk, scattered seven hits and gave up three runs.
