Creighton upped its winning streak to eight games with an 81-62 win at DePaul on Tuesday. The Bluejays are 13-2 overall, 3-0 in BIG EAST play and 4-0 on away courts this season.
Five Creighton players reached double figures in scoring led by Doug McDermott who finished with 19 points. Coming off the bench, guard Avery Dingman scored 16 points in 18 minutes.
Ethan Wragge, the BIG EAST’s top 3-point shooter, added 12 points, all from beyond the arc.
The Blue Demons were led by seniors Brandon Young and Cleveland Melvin, who scored 24 and 16 points, respectively.
Tuesday’s schedule includes a pair of conference battles. FOX Sports 1 has Georgetown at Providence. CBS Sports Network will carry 8/10 Villanova at Seton Hall. That game will include an enhanced audio experience with 30 microphones at court level providing unprecedented access to the sounds of the game.
