Both road teams grabbed wins in the two BIG EAST matchups on Tuesday night. The night started with a 90-68 Seton Hall (9-12, 3-6 BIG EAST) win over No. 9/10 Syracuse. It was the third-straight loss for the Orange, who suffered their third worse home loss in the last 15 seasons. The Hall could not miss to start the game, hitting seven of their first 10 shots from beyond the arc and finishing 10-of-17 from 3-point range for the contest. Guard Jeremy Hazell led the way with 28 points and nine rebounds, while guard Jordan Theodore dropped 19 points and seven assists.
The Hall held a 43-30 halftime lead, and then kept Syracuse (18-3, 5-3 BIG EAST) scoreless for the first six minutes of the second half to take control of the game. The Orange were outshot 54.1 percent to 36.1 percent in the contest. Forward Kris Joseph led SU with 17 points and Rick Jackson notched yet another double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

No. 5/5 Connecticut (17-2, 5-2 BIG EAST) won its sixth-straight game as the Huskies beat Marquette 76-68 at the Bradley Center. Guard Kemba Walker was held to just 14 points, but the Huskies got a career-best 24 points from guard Jeremy Lamb to grab the win. Connecticut used a late 13-0 run to clinch the game, and the team scored 21 of the final 29 points. Despite shooting just 5-of-16, Walker still registered a game-high nine assists and had just two turnovers in 39 minutes. Forward Jimmy Butler had 21 points for Marquette, and his first basket of the game put him over the 1,000-point plateau for his career.

Wednesday's schedule has four BIG EAST contests. Three games tip at 7 p.m. Eastern, including West Virginia visiting No. 23/19 Louisville on ESPNU. Also, St. John's visits No. 21/20 Georgetown and Providence hosts No. 8/7 Villanova. One game gets started at 9 p.m. Eastern, as Rutgers heads to Cincinnati.
