BIG EAST Commissioner John Marinatto Rings Opening Bell at New York Stock Exchange

On Monday, March 7, John Marinatto, Commissioner of the BIG EAST Conference, accompanied by BIG EAST conference officials, visited the New York Stock Exchange and rang The Opening Bell to kick off the 2011 BIG EAST Championship. 

The Championship is presented by American Eagle Outfitters and will be played at Madison Square Garden in New York March 8-12.  It will be the 29th straight year in which the Garden has hosted the championship event, making it the longest-running conference tournament at one venue in the country.


The event will also kick off BIG EAST Week, a series of festivities celebrating the long history of the conference in New York City.
