Men's Basketball Boasts Winning Tradition

NEW YORK - BIG EAST men's basketball can back up its boast of basketball tradition and success. All 10 BIG EAST schools own all-time winning records and each school has won at least 57 percent of its games. Last season, five schools posted 20-win campaigns - Villanova, Creighton, Providence, Xavier and St. John's. The Red Storm have the most wins with 1,774 and the best percentage, winning 65.2 percent.

Six of the 10 schools feature all-time winning percentages better than .600.
