ESPN College GameDay and Saturday Primetime to Visit Two BIG EAST Campuses this Season

ESPN College GameDay is returning for an eighth season and will be making two visits to BIG EAST campuses during this year's men's basketball season. Connecticut and Pittsburgh, which coincidentally were part of the first ESPN College GameDay telecast in 2005, will both host the wildly popular ESPN program this year. Pittsburgh will host the show, as well as ESPN's Saturday Primetime at the Petersen Events Center Saturday, Jan. 21 prior to its BIG EAST game against Louisville. UConn will host both shows Saturday, Feb. 25 at 9 p.m. in Gampel Pavilion in conjunction with the Huskies' BIG EAST matchup against Syracuse. The BIG EAST has enjoyed a major presence on ESPN College GameDay as the conference leads the nation in total program appearances (30) and total days hosted (14). The BIG EAST is guaranteed two appearances this year, the most of any conference. For the eighth year, Rece Davis will serve as point guard for the College GameDay desk, and will be joined by analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps, Hubert Davis and Bob Knight to preview all the day's action and discuss the biggest storylines in college basketball.
