BIG EAST teams added three more wins to the conference coffers Tuesday, making the league 8-0 this week.

Tuesday's schedule included a pair of longstanding rivalries, including the 148th meeting between Cincinnati and Miami (Ohio). Center Cheikh Mbodj came off the bench to score a career-high 12 points to help the Bearcats to a 56-47 win at Fifth Third Arena.

Cincinnati relied on balanced scoring to pick up its 13th straight series win against the RedHawks. Dion Dixon, Sean Kilpatrick and Yancy Gates had 10 points each for the Bearcats, while Gates added 10 rebounds for his 16th career double-double. WATCH HIGLIGHTS

Providence, meanwhile, faced a longtime rival as the Friars were 82-77 winners against Holy Cross in the 69th meeting of those schools. Guard Vincent Council had 19 points and 11 assists, while guard Bryce Cotton had a game-high 24 points. The Friars shot 51.5 percent from the field and outrebounded the Crusaders 43-30.

Syracuse didn't have a long history with Eastern Michigan, though there was a connection between the programs as Eagles head coach Rob Murphy previously served as an assistant with the Orange for seven years. Syracuse had a relatively easy time with the Eagles, rolling to an 84-48 win at the Carrier Dome as forward James Southerland scored a team-high 19 points. The Orange had 21 assists on 32 field goals and shot 50 percent from the field to improve to 7-0. WATCH HIGHLIGHTS
