BIG EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK James Bell, G, Villanova Bell was named tournament MVP of the Battle4Atlantis while helping the Wildcats win the title. He scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds in an 88-83 overtime win over No. 23/23 Iowa in the championship game. He had 17 points in a 94-79 first-round win over USC and 10 points in a 73-69 victory over No. 2/2 Kansas.

BIG EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Billy Garrett, Jr., G, DePaul Garrett, Jr. averaged 10.7 points and 4.3 assists in three games. He had his first career double-double with 15 points and 10 assists in a 93-81 win against Oregon State.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Kellen Dunham, G, Butler Set a tournament scoring record with 32 points and averaged 20.3 points in the Old Spice Classic.

Doug McDermott, F, Creighton Made the Wooden Legacy All-Tournament Team after averaging 21.3 points and 6.0 boards.

D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, G, Georgetown Posted 17 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in a win against Lipscomb.

D'Angelo Harrison, St. John's, G, St. John's Averaged 19.7 ppg and 4.3 rpg in a 2-1 week, which included a win over Georgia Tech.
