BIG EAST teams captured three more wins Monday, extending the conference's winning streak to 35 games. The last loss by a BIG EAST team was Dec. 5.

Included in Monday's victories was the 900th career win for Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim. Boeheim, whose Orange squad was a 72-68 winner against Detroit Monday, becomes just the third man to win 900 games and the first to do so at one school.

Two BIG EAST teams are in action Tuesday. Providence, which is 7-2 despite relying on just seven available players, should find some reinforcements tonight against Colgate (7 p.m.). Center Sidiki Johnson — a transfer from Arizona State — and highly regarded freshman guard Kris Dunn are expected to make their debuts in the lineup.

USF, which hasn't played since Dec. 5, hosts Youngstown State at the Sun Dome (7 p.m., BIG EAST Network/SNY). The only previous meeting between the schools was exactly 18 years ago, on Dec. 18, 1984.
