BIG EAST teams are off on Thursday and Friday, but the weekend is busy with seven games on Saturday and three on Sunday.

You can catch a national telecast of a BIG EAST game throughout the day on Saturday. At noon ET, Georgetown plays at No. 18/19 Kansas on ESPNU. FOX Sports 1 has St. John's hosting Youngstown State at 1 p.m. and No. T8/12 Villanova playing at home against Rider at 4 p.m. In the evening, it's back to ESPNU for Marquette vs. New Mexico at 9 p.m.

Sunday's schedule includes a FOX Sports 1 doubleheader. Seton Hall hosts Eastern Washington at 5 p.m. and Creighton tangles with California at 7 p.m.

St. John's and DePaul cruised to homecourt victories Wednesday night. The Red Storm handled San Francisco 81-57 and the Blue Demons knocked off Houston Baptist 78-58. Guard D'Angelo Harrison led St. John's with 18 points. DePaul forward Cleveland Melvin broke loose for 28 points and 12 rebounds.

By The Numbers - Creighton has made a league-leading 113 3-point baskets, well ahead of second-place Villanova with 86...The Bluejays' Doug McDermott is second in the nation in scoring with a 25.3 average...Sophomore center Chris Obekpa of St. John's is first nationally in blocked shots with a 5.1 average. As a team, the Red Storm are also the blocked shot leaders with a 9.8 mark...Providence is first in the country in free throw shooting, making 81.3 percent.
