Syracuse Defeats Cornell
No. 7/8 Syracuse rebounded from an early four-goal deficit to defeat No. 2/2 Cornell 13-12 on April 10 at the Carrier Dome. The Orange rallied behind their first midfield line, which combined for 11 points against the Big Red. Senior Luke Cometti led the trio with a career-high four goals. Classmate JoJo Marasco had two goals and two assists.
Rutgers Falls to Princeton
Rutgers fell to No. 9/10 Princeton 13-8 at Yurcak Field Tuesday night. The game was tied 6-6 late in the second quarter before the Tigers went on a 5-0 run to hold off the Scarlet Knights. Rutgers was led by redshirt junior M Matt Klimchak, who tallied his second-straight hat trick and notched one assist for four points on the night. 
Upcoming Games
There are three games on Saturday, including two league matchups. Rutgers will play at No. 7/8 Syracuse at 1 p.m., while Providence is playing at Holy Cross. At 7 p.m., Villanova will play at No. 14/19 St. John's. Villanova is receiving votes in both polls.
