Men's Lacrosse Minute: A Look Around the League

Syracuse Loses to Hobart

No. 3/5 Syracuse had its six-game home winning streak snapped in a 13-12 loss to Hobart on April 16 at the Carrier Dome. Alex Love's unassisted goal with 2:13 remaining was the difference as the Statesmen won the Kraus-Simmons Trophy for just the third time since it started being presented to the Syracuse-Hobart winner in 1986.

Friars Fall in Ocean State Battle

Providence rallied in the fourth quarter, but fell short to cross-city rival Brown 7-6 on April 16 at Lennon Family Field. The Friars trailed 6-4 heading into the fourth quarter and tied the game on back-to-back goals by Greg FitzMaurice at 13:46 and 8:15, but couldn't pull off the victory.
