Offensive Player of the Week
Matt Walker, Xavier, MF, Sr.
Walker contributed on all four Xavier goals in a 2-0 week by notching a goal and an assist in each contest. He netted the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory against Cal-Irvine. He assisted on the game-winning tally in a 2-1 win against Kentucky.
Defensive Player of the Week
Keegan Rosenberry, Georgetown, M, So.
Rosenberry helped the Hoyas post 1-0 shutouts against Duquesne and James Madison and had one assist. Rosenberry played every minute of both contests and helped the GU defense limit James Madison to only one shot on goal.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Rafael Diaz, St. John's, GK, Sr.
Diaz earns goalkeeper of the week honors for a second straight week after posting 1-0 shutouts against South Carolina and West Virginia. He made six saves against the Gamecocks and five against the Mountaineers. Diaz has recorded three straight shutouts.
Rookie of the Week
David Goldsmith, Butler, F, Fr.
Goldsmith scored three goals in a 4-1 victory against Houston Baptist. He scored in the 11th, 50th and 89th minutes, marking the first hat trick by a Butler player in three years.
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Tomas Gomez, Georgetown, GK, Jr.
Posted a pair of 1-0 shutouts, helping the Hoyas beat Duquesne and James Madison. He made a total of seven saves.
Eric Pothast, Marquette, D, Sr.
Scored the game-winning goal in the 90th minute of a 1-0 win at Michigan. It was the fifth game-winning goal of his career.
Anthony Baumann, Providence, B, Jr.
The right back helped the Friars stay unbeaten with a 3-1 win over Harvard and a 0-0 tie against Northeastern. In the Harvard victory, he scored the game-winning goal and added an assist.
Sean Sepe, St. John's, F, So.
Scored both goals in 1-0 victories against South Carolina and West Virginia.
Nick Hagglund, Xavier, D, Sr.
Helped the Muskeeteer defense in a 2-0 win against UC-Irvine and a 2-1 decision over Kentucky.
