Offensive Player of the Week

Timo Pitter, Creighton, M, So.
Pitter scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in a 5-1 victory against DePaul. Earlier in the week, he assisted on both tallies in a 2-0 win against Drake. Pitter leads the Bluejays with seven goals and 18 points for the season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Tim Parker, St. John's, D, Jr.
Parker earns defensive honors for the second week in a row after helping the Red Storm hold off Georgetown 1-0. He led a defensive effort that had St. John's playing the final 47:28 with only 10 men. The Red Storm limited the Hoyas to only three shots on goal.

Goalkeeper of the Week

Eric Osswald, Xavier, GK, Jr.
Osswald picked up his 10th win and sixth shutout of the season in a 1-0 victory at Villanova. He had seven saves. The win helped moved Xavier into second place in the BIG EAST standings with a 6-2-0 record.

Rookie of the Week

Miguel Alves, St. John's, M, Fr.
Alves scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 win against Georgetown. The score came in the 71st minute and was the first of Alves' career.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Helped the Bluejays allow only one goal in a 2-0 week, which included a 2-0 win over Drake and a 5-1 decision over DePaul. Scored in the Drake contest.

Scored in the 80th minute of a 2-1 win against Seton Hall, which pushed MU into sole possession of first place. It was his fifth game-winner of the season.

Mac Steeves, Providence, F, Fr.
Scored a free-kick goal in a 3-2 victory over Butler. Had six shots in the contest.

Rafael Diaz, St. John's, GK, Sr.
Made three saves in a 1-0 victory against Georgetown. The shutout was a school record 31st for his career.

Matt Walker, Xavier, F, Sr.
Scored his eighth goal of the season in a 1-0 win at Villanova, which extended XU's winning streak to six games.
