Katherine Plouffe, F Marquette

Plouffe averaged 20.0 points and 13.0 and posted three double-doubles to help Marquette to a 3-0 start, which included wins over Wake Forest (90-71) and at Vanderbilt (82-77). She had 26 points and 16 boards against Wake Forest. Against Vanderbilt, Plouffe finished with 16 points and 11 boards.She shot 52.4 percent from the floor for the three contests.

Natalie Butler, C Georgetown Butler averaged 16.3 points and 13.7 rebounds while posting three double-doubles to begin her college career. She is shooting 56.3 percent from the floor. Butler had 20 points and 13 boards at South Dakota State and 16 points and 15 rebounds in a loss to No. 10/11 California. The Hoyas own a 1-2 record.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Jasmine Penny, F, DePaul Was named MVP of the Maggie Dixon Classic after averaging 15.5 points and shooting 73.3 percent from the floor.

Alexis Harris, F, Providence Averaged 18.3 ppg and 10.0 rebounds in a 2-1 start. Leads the league with a .815 field goal percentage.

Aliyyah Handford, G, St. John's Averaged 25.3 ppg and 9.7 rebounds in a 3-0 start. Posted two career scoring highs, including 32 points against Iona.

Emily Leer, F, Villanova Averaged 18.3 ppg while shooting 60 percent from the floor and 52.6 percent from 3-point range in a 3-0 start.

Shatyra Hawkes, G, Xavier Averaged 22.0 ppg, 6.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists in a 2-1 start. Had 27 points in an overtime win at Michigan.
