BIG EAST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Liz Stratman, Butler
Stratman averaged 23.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in a pair of victories in the Las Vegas Thanksgiving Shootout. The junior shot 18-of-28 (.640) from the floor for the two games. She had 21 points and eight rebounds in a 66-54 win over Utah. In a 74-51 victory against Eastern Washington, she scored 25 points in 20 minutes. For the season, Stratman is averaging 16.4 points per game.
BIG EAST Rookie of the Week
Aaliyah Lewis, St. John's
Lewis averaged 16.0 points in a 1-1 week that included an 81-76 win against Harvard and an 82-78 loss at Florida. Against Harvard, the rookie point guard had 19 points and five steals. Lewis finished with 13 points against Florida. She is averaging 9.4 points per game for the season.

Andrea White, F, Georgetown
Was named MVP of the Great Alaska Shootout after averaging 19.5 points and 9.0 boards in wins over Nicholls State and Alaska-Anchorage.
Katherine Plouffe, F, Marquette
Averaged 21.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in wins over Tennessee Tech and Utah in the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout. Shot 55.6 percent from the field.
Aliyyah Handford, G, St. John's
In a 1-1 week, averaged 21.5 points and 6.0 rebounds. Shot 55.9 percent from the field.
Tabatha Richardson-Smith, G/F, Seton Hall
Was chosen MVP of the Seton Hall Thanksgiving Classic after averaging 18.5 points and 11.0 rebounds.
Devon Kane, G, Villanova
Was named MVP of the FIU Thanksgiving Classic. Averaged 16.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
