Xavier 70, Murray State 66
Xavier won for the second time in three games to improve to 4-4 on the season. Four Musketeers scored in double figures, including team-high 13 by freshman Leah Schaefer. Schaefer’s 13 also proved to be a career best. Sophomores Jenna Crittendon (12) and Aliyah Zantt (10), and senior Ashley Wanninger (10) rounded out the balanced scoring attack by XU.  The Musketeers won the battle of the boards, 45-41, thanks in part to eight rebounds apiece by Schaefer and Crittendon.
