Bolles Scores Second Goal of Junior World Cup in Win Over South Africa

Rising senior forward Marie Elena Bolles her second goal for Team USA in the Americans' Junior World Cup victory over South Africa on Sunday in Monchengladbach, Germany.  With the 4-2 victory, Team USA finishes 3-3 in World Cup competition, tying its best-ever finish at seventh out of the 16 teams. 

Bolles also scored in the Americans’ victory over Ghana in pool play.

Bolles finished 2012 third on the team with 12 goals, eight assists and 32 points.  She was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year and scored one of her team-high tying six game-winning goals in the final second of the 2012 BIG EAST Championship Final to clinch the victory for the Huskies.
