In field hockey action, No. 11 Louisville hosts No. 12 Ohio State tonight at 6 p.m. for the Cardinal home-opener. The Cards hold a 3-1 mark this season, while the Buckeyes are 2-1. Louisville is 2-1 against ranked opponents, while on a three-game winning streak.
There are two women's soccer games on Wednesday night. Seton Hall host No. 8/8 Maryland at 7 p.m., while Marquette hosts Milwaukee at 8 p.m. "Wednesday will be another special night and should add to the history of our matches with UW-Milwaukee," said Marquette head coach Markus Roeders. "The games have always been exciting and fans shouldn't expect anything less this year."
Volleyball has two matches slated for tonight at 7 p.m. St. John's will host rival Hofstra in the annual Queens-Nassau Cup. The series all-time series is tied at four matches a piece between the two schools. Georgetown will also be on the court as the Hoyas host Howard in their home-opener. Under current head coach Arlisa Williams, Georgetown is 4-0 against Howard.
