STORRS, Conn. – Junior forward Chloe Hunnable has been honored as the Big East Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league on Monday evening.  Hunnable earns the honor for the first time this season and the fifth time in her career.

The Halstead, England native recorded the third hat-trick of her career with a three-goal, one-assist effort in the No. 2 Huskies’ 4-1 victory at Providence on Saturday.  She now leads the Huskies with 11 goals and 25 points.  Her 11 goals are tied for the second-highest total in the conference.

Hunnable and the Huskies are back in action on Friday, October 11 when they welcome No. 17 Louisville to Storrs.  Game time is set for 6 p.m.
