Offensive Player of the Week

Marie Elena Bolles, Connecticut, F/M, Sr.
Bolles scored three goals and added two assists in a 2-0 week for the Huskies that included a 6-0 win over No. 14 Louisville. Bolles had two goals and two assists in the Louisville victory and added a goal in a 5-1 win against Boston U. The Preseason BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year, Bolles has nine goals this season and 25 points.

Defensive Player of the Week

Megan Hept, Old Dominion, GK, So.
Hept posted a pair of shutouts, helping the Monarchs to a 1-0 victory over No. 17 Temple and a 6-0 triumph over Villanova. She made five saves against Temple and two saves against Villanova. Hept has not allowed a goal in the last 311 minutes of play and has recorded four straight shutouts.

BIG EAST Honor Roll

Roisin Upton, Connecticut, M, So.
Led a defense that gave up only one goal in wins over Louisville and Boston U. Helped offensively with two goals and two assists for the week.

Rosario Villagra, Old Dominion, F, Jr.
Scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory against Temple. Also scored in a 6-0 win against Villanova.

Laura Rose, Rutgers, M, Jr.
Helped the defense hold Georgetown without a shot in a 5-0 victory. She also scored her fourth goal of the season against the Hoyas. RU had a 2-0 week.

Sophie Wright, Rutgers, F, Jr.
Helped beat Monmouth 4-3 in overtime and Georgetown 5-0 with a total of three goals. She had two tallies in the Georgetown win.

Amber Youtz, Temple, F, Jr.
Scored all three goals in a 3-1 victory over Providence. The Owls were 1-1 for the week.
