Offensive Player of the Week

Amber Youtz, Temple, F, Jr.
Youtz posted three goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the No. 17 Owls. She scored twice and added an assist in a 5-1 win against Georgetown. The assist was the 100th of her career. In a 3-2 road win at Lafayette, she scored the first goal and assisted on the third tally, which would be the game-winner. The Owls own a four-game winning streak.

Defensive Player of the Week

Christy Longacre, Old Dominion, B, Sr.
Longacre helped lead the Monarchs past No. 4 Connecticut and No. 2 North Carolina. She helped limit Connecticut to nine shots on goal in a 5-0 shutout against the Huskies. In a 3-2 overtime victory versus the Tar Heels, Longacre had two key assists off corners in addition to her defensive play.

BIG EAST Honor Roll

Shannon Sloss, Louisville, F, Fr.
Scored a pair of goals in a 6-1 victory against Villanova. Leads the team with 10 goals this season.

Victoria Stratton, Louisville, B, So.
Dished two assists and helped limit Villanova to 10 shots in a 6-1 win.

Rosario Villagra, Old Dominion, F, Jr.
Scored one goal and added three assists in a 2-0 week. Had all three assists in a 5-0 win against No. 4 Connecticut and one goal in a 3-2 overtime win against No. 2 North Carolina.

Daniella Bernasconi, Providence, F, Jr.
Scored her team-high 15th goal of the season in a 3-0 win against Rutgers. Her goal total is the highest at the school since 2008.

Deidra Clymer, Providence, GK, Jr.
Posted her fourth shutout victory of the season, making six saves in a 3-0 win against Rutgers. Faced 12 shots.
