Notre Dame senior Nikki Weiss earned BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week honors and Georgetown freshman Kaitlin Brenn was named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week.

Shufelt earns BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors after totaling eight points, including two gamewinners in a 2-0-0 week. She had both goals in a 2-1 double overtime win over Illinois on Sept. 3 and scored twice, including the golden goal in a 3-2 overtime win over then-No. 16/17 Penn State on Sept. 5. All five UConn games have gone to overtime this season.

For the second straight week, Pawelko earns BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week honors after helping Cincinnati post a pair of shutouts in a 2-0-0 week. The junior also set up the game-winning goal with an assist in a 1-0 victory against Western Michigan on Sept. 5. Pawelko has helped anchor a backline that allowed just two goals in six games this year. The Bearcats are off to their best start in school history.

The senior was tabbed Goalkeeper MVP of the Inn at St. Mary's Classic after a 1-0 win over then-No. 8/9 Santa Clara on Sept. 3 and a 2-0 win over Texas Tech on Sept. 5. Weiss totaled 11 saves over 180 minutes, including a career-best seven saves against Santa Clara. Notre Dame travels to No. 11/15 UCLA, along with Loyola Marymount this weekend.

Brenn earns BIG EAST Rookie of the Week honors following four points in a 2-0-0 week for the Hoyas. The freshman helped the Hoyas to a 3-1 conference-opening win at Villanova on Sept. 1.
