Offensive Player of the Week

Rachel Daly, St. John's, Sr.
Daly scored five goals for the Red Storm In a 2-0 week. She scored twice in a 4-0 win against Central Connecticut and followed that with a three-goal effort in a 4-0 win at Brown. With a league-leading 11 goals in six games, the sophomore is already tied for fourth on the school's single-season goals list.

Defensive Player of the Week

Mary Kroening, Georgetown, Sr.
Kroening helped the Hoyas post a pair of shutouts, 2-0 at NC State and 3-0 against Delaware. The senior defender helped the GU back line record its second and third straight shutouts of the season. She also notched a goal and an assist in the Delaware victory.

Goalkeeper of the Week

Katie Markesbery, Xavier, Sr.
Markesbery did not allow a goal in a 1-0-1 week. The junior helped the Musketeers defeat Evansville 1-0 and battle Eastern Kentucky to a scoreless draw on the road. She made fi ve saves in both contests.

Rookie of the Week

Katie Martin, Villanova, Fr.
Martin earned rookie honors for a second straight week after she scored fi ve points in a 1-1 week for the Wildcats. She fi gured in both goals of a 3-2 loss to James Madison with a goal and an assist. The freshman forward picked up two assists in a 3-0 win over Richmond.

BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Sophia Maccagnone, Butler, MF, So.
Posted two goals and an assist in a 1-0-2 week. Had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 victory against IPFW.

Kelsey O'Donnell, Creighton, D, Sr.
Led the Bluejays with an all-around effort in a 6-1 win against Idaho with effective defensive play and a goal and an assist.

Emma Newins, Georgetown, GK, Jr.
Posted shutouts at NC State (2-0) and against Delaware (3-0). Made three saves in each contest.

Katie Hishmeh, Marquette, D, Sr.
Was named defensive MVP of the Marquette Invitational with wins against Saint Mary's (3-0) and Colorado College (3-1).
