BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

Daphne Corboz, Georgetown – Corboz registered eight points in an 8-0 win against Yale. The junior midfielder scored a pair of goals and added three assists in the victory, which was the Hoyas’ only game of the week. She was playing in only her second game of the season after missing the first five games with an injury.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week

Emily Roll, Creighton – Roll helped the Bluejays allow only one goal in a 3-0 week. In the three games, the defender anchored a defense that surrendered an average of 9.3 shots and 3.0 corners per contest. In a 4-0 win against South Dakota, Roll also registered an assist. In the other two games, Creighton won 1-0 at UMKC and 2-1 in overtime against Montana.

BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week

Danielle Rice, Creighton – Rice earned her first and second solo shutouts, beating UMKC 1-0 on the road and South Dakota 4-0 at home. She also helped defeat Montana 2-1 in overtime. For the three games, she made 13 saves. During the Bluejays’ current six-game winning streak, Rice has a 0.53 GAA.

BIG EAST Rookie of the Week

McKenzie Muchow, Butler – Muchow scored the only goal of the match to help the Bulldogs defeat No. 11 Michigan 1-0. It was Butler’s only game of the week. It was the first goal of her collegiate career.

BIG EAST Honor Roll

Lauren Cingoranelli, Creighton, F, Sr.
Had two goals and an assist in a 4-0 win against South Dakota. It was the first time a Creighton player had five points in a game since 2009.

Ashleigh Goddard, DePaul, M, Sr.
Scored a golden goal and added an assist in a 3-2 victory against Patriot League champion Colgate.

Mary Kroening, Georgetown, D, Sr.
Scored two goals in an 8-0 win against Yale and helped the Hoyas post their fourth straight shutout.



Jennifer Pettigrew, Seton Hall, GK, Sr.
Rose to fourth on the school’s career shutout list with eight in a six-save effort in a scoreless draw against Princeton. Also made five saves in a 2-1 loss to Delaware.

Figured in both goals of a 2-1 win over St. Francis (Pa.) with the game-winning goal and an assist.
