CHICAGO - After scoring the first game-winning goal of her collegiate career on Sunday, Gini Yost was greeted with more good news on Monday.

Yost received her first collegiate award when the BIG EAST Conference selected her for its weekly Honor Roll.

DePaul and Loyola Chicago were locked in a scoreless match at Loyola Soccer Park when Yost got on the end of a Rebekah Roller service in the 85th minute and scored a left-footed goal into the Ramblers' net.

Yost's second goal of the season secured a 1-0 victory and sent the Blue Demons onto their best start in school history at 6-1-1.

The freshman midfielder from Omaha, Neb. has made an immediate impact on the DePaul program along with fellow freshman Ana Greik. Greik was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Sept. 2 after scoring two goals in two games.

Along with the rookie pair, Elise Wyatt and Ashleigh Goddard have been chosen for the Honor Roll.

Yost and her teammates are preparing to open their BIG EAST season on Thursday with a challenging match at No. 10/10 Georgetown.
