BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Maegan Kelly, Marquette – Kelly scored a pair of goals, including the gamewinner, in a 3-2 victory over Louisville. The game-winning tally came on a penalty kick in the 104th minute. The senior leads the Golden Eagles in scoring with 10 points.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Kelsey O’Donnell, Creighton – O’Donnell helped the Bluejay defense in a 3-2 win against local foe Nebraska-Omaha. Creighton allowed only one shot in the second half and the senior centerback scored two goals for the Bluejays.
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Diana Poulin, St. John’s – Poulin made 14 saves to help the Red Storm play to a scoreless draw against Dartmouth. The freshman owns a 0.26 goals against average for the season.
BIG EAST Rookie of the Week
McKenzie Muchow, Butler – The midfielder earns rookie honors for a second straight week after she scored two goals in a 4-3 victory over Wright State
BIG EAST Honor Roll
Sophia Maccagnone, Butler, F, Sr.
Picked up two goals and an assist in a 2-0 week. She had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 win against Wright State and the only goal of the game in a 1-0 victory against IUPUI.
Gini Yost, DePaul, M, Fr.
Registered the only goal of the match in a 1-0 win against Loyola (Ili.).
Daphne Corboz, Georgetown, M, Jr.
Scored the first goal in a 2-1 win at Connecticut and had an assist on GU’s only goal in a 1-1 tie against UCF.
Emma Nevins, Georgetown
Nevins helped the Hoyas to a 1-0-1 week. The week began with a 1-1 draw against UCF when the junior made five saves. She made six saves in a 2-1 victory at Connecticut.
Frankie Maier, Seton Hall, M, Fr.
Assisted on both goals in a 2-1 double-overtime victory against Marist. The assists were the first of her career.
