The Providence College women’s soccer program announced that it will be hosting a one day soccer clinic on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.The clinic will be hosted at newly constructed Ray Treacy Track & Field Complex.
Head Coach Jim McGirr and his staff consisting of assistants Matt Kagan, Emily Tyner and Alyssa Naeher will be directing the clinic. Participants will be coached directly by the Providence College women’s soccer staff.
The clinic specific to high school players, ranging from grades nine through 12, is designed for those interested in pursuing a collegiate soccer career. The event will consist of two field sessions in addition to a campus tour and recruiting seminar.
Session one of field work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be followed by a college prep seminar. At 1:00 p.m. there will be a break for lunch where the participants will be encouraged to watch the Providence College men’s soccer team take on Marquette.
