QUEENS, N.Y. - Sophomore forward Rachel Daly was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. The Harrogate, England native was tabbed to the Honor Roll for the second consecutive week following two goals in a 3-2 overtime win at Providence on Sunday.
Daly not only lifted the Red Storm to victory with her two goals but cemented her name in the St. John's record book as she tied the Red Storm's all-time single season goals record. Daly shares the record of 17 goals in a season with Red Storm great Cristin Burtis.
Daly, a two-time BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, leads the conference in scoring with 17 goals and points with 36.
The Red Storm returns to Belson Stadium for a 7 p.m. match on Saturday against the Seton Hall Pirates. The game will be broadcasted live on StormTracker All-Access.
