Mary Connolly, DePaul, Jr., 1B
Connolly dominated at the plate at the UNLV Eller Media Stadium Classic, batting .875 (7-for-8) with a home run and seven RBI. The junior posted multiple RBI is all three games and had three hits in two-of-three games. Her three doubles were a team best, while her RBI tally tied for the team lead. For the season, Connolly ranks third on the squad with a .420 batting average, while her four doubles and five homers are team bests.

Megan Hyson, Georgetown, Jr., P
Hyson led the Hoyas at the 49er Invitational in Charlotte, N.C. The tournament was highlighted by a Hyson no-hitter against Stony Brook on Saturday and a Georgetown championship victory on Sunday. In addition to throwing a no-hitter in the 6-0 win against the Seawolves, she also threw two two-hit shutouts, one of which came in the championship game against the host school, Charlotte. For her weekend pitching performances, Hyson was named the Most Valuable Pitcher of the tournament. She pitched 19.0 innings over the weekend with 16 strikeouts to only four walks. The junior has a 1.70 ERA on the season across 49.1 innings with 38 strikeouts while holding her opponents to a .168 batting average.

Erin Burner, St. John’s, Jr., C
Burner finished the Sixth Annual Bulldog Invitation batting .571 (8-for-14) with an .857 slugging percentage after a combined 6-for-7 performance on Saturday against host-No. 17/18 Georgia and Western Carolina, belting a double and a home run in a 6-0 win over the Catamounts.
Becca Changstrom, Creighton, Sr., P
Despite suffering a pair of losses last weekend to No. 21 Tulsa and Northwestern State, CU starter Becca Changstrom only surrendered three earned runs in the two appearances. She also struck out 15 batters over those two games in just 13.2 innings of work.     
Jackie DiPietro, Seton Hall, So., OF
DiPietro batted .400 at the UNLV Eller Media Classic, knocking a pair of extra-base hits, three RBI and added a .600 slugging percentage. She started all four games for the Pirates and recorded at least one base hit in each game and added multi-hit games against Binghamton and UNLV.
Tori Free, St. John’s, So., P
Free finished with a 1-2 record at the Sixth Annual Bulldog Invitational this weekend, pitching against No. 17/18 Georgia, formerly ranked UAB and Western Carolina. The sophomore posted 16 strikeouts across 13.2 innings and pitched a complete-game shutout against Western Carolina on Saturday, striking out eight.
Kirsten Verdun, DePaul, Sr., P
Verdun went 2-0 with a 2.50 ERA, striking out 22 in 14 innings of work. She recorded double-digit strikeouts in each of her starts, tying a season high with 12 against New Mexico State.
