Pittsburgh fails to move up in the rankings at 11th with a 6-13 record and three league games remaining.
In nonconference action, BIG EAST teams went 6-2. DePaul shut out Northern Illinois 2-0, Notre Dame defeated Western Michigan 6-1, Rutgers swept its doubleheader against Lafayette 8-0 and 7-0, Villanova swept its doubledip against Delaware 2-0 and 3-1, and Seton Hall dropped its twinbill against Stony Brook 6-4 and 4-0.
One game is scheduled today when Connecticut hosts Boston University at 5:00 p.m. ET.
