Notre Dame Men's Tennis Falls 4-0 to Ohio State in NCAA Second Round

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Notre Dame men's tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss to No. 5 Ohio State in the second round of the NCAA Men's Tennis Championship in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday.  The Irish end the season with a 21-9 record.

 
Three singles matches were either in a third set or heading to a third set when the match was ended.  Senior Sam Keeton dropped the first set 6-4 to OSU's Peter Kobalt, but stormed back in the second to win 6-0.  Senior Naill Fitzgerald won the opening set against Devin McCarthy and was in a tie break for the second set when his match was suspended at 6-2, 6-7.  Junior Blas Moros also was putting up a fight, taking the first set from Connor Smith and finishing the match with a score of 7-6, (7-3), 1-2.
