Villanova's Petrovich, Louisville's Juhl Earn BIG EAST Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Villanova redshirt sophomore Morgan Petkovich was named BIG EAST volleyball Player of the Week for the first time this season and second time in her career as announced by the conference office on Monday. Louisville freshman Emily Juhl notched BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors for the second time this season, while five teams have locked-up spots in the BIG EAST Championship in Pittsburgh Nov. 19-21. The BIG EAST regular season concludes this week. Petkovich earns BIG EAST Player of the Week honors after leading the Wildcats to wins over Notre Dame on Nov. 5 and DePaul on Nov. 7. She is the first Wildcat to win the award since Aug. 31, 2009 when Petkovich also received the honor.
